Building this technology was inspired by my mom who's been UGC Creator partnering with hundreds of restaurants to help get them more exposure with their social media over the past 4 years. I've had the pleasure of tagging along with her on some of her sponsored foodie adventures and after speaking with these restaurant owners they've shared a lot of the pain points about their business while allowing me to enjoying their best dishes on the menu!
What we noticed is that most mom and pop owners didn't sign up to be marketers and were struggling to retain customer relationships, bring in new customers, fluctuating food costs, increasing sales and most didn't even have a website!
But local businesses are disappearing. Twenty years ago 60% of restaurants were mom and pops. Today that's down to 40% and declining as big chains take over the industry, forcing smaller ones to close their doors.
